Grades 1 through 4 meet in the church hall immediately following the 9:00 Mass, starting about 10:00 and lasting one hour.
Grades 5 and 6 meet in the church hall on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 7:00.We ask that a parent attend the beginning of the first class to meet the teacher. You’ll receive an overview of the curriculum and have the chance to discuss any specific needs your child may have. For example, if your child has difficulty reading, we can adjust the class accordingly to ensure they feel comfortable.
Our Catechists are terrific volunteer members of the parish, with the Pastor as the director of the CCD program.
Parochial School students who wish to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 10th grade are required to attend 9th grade CCD classes, per Diocesan policy.
Second grade students preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion, and ninth and tenth grade students entering the Confirmation program, must provide a long form copy of their baptismal record at the first class session. A record can be obtained by phoning the church to request that it be mailed to your home. Those baptized here at Immaculate Conception do not need to furnish a record. Thank you for your cooperation in submitting these documents.
Parents who wish to enroll their children in CCD classes are required to submit a registration form for each child. Please Register Online or download, print, and complete the CCD Registration Form and place it, along with your registration fee offering, in the collection basket when attending Mass. Further details on the registration fee are provided on the online or downloaded form.
Late registrations are still being accepted. Please register online to ensure that your child is enrolled prior to the start of the first class. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the rectory at (978) 365-6582 or by email at [email protected].
