Dear Friends,
As times moves on, I am sure many of you have questions about Immaculate Conception. Often enough people have asked either me or Deacon Bill if certain things like daily Mass, ushers, etc. are going to return. One of the things I learned early on as a pastor is to make some decisions in consultation with the folks who will be directly affected by them. To that end, we will be having a Parish Meeting on Tuesday, September 19, at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Everyone is invited, or should I say, urged, to attend this meeting. At that time, we will issue the Financial Report along with what I call a “Pastoral Report” which will reflect the ministerial aspects of the parish. Please take time to genuinely reflect on how we can implement the three characteristics of Stewardship: Time, Talent, and Treasure in our parish.
For those who like to attend daily Mass, what time would you really like to see Mass held: 7:30, 8:00 or 8:30 AM? Please let either Deacon Bill or me know your preference.
Peace,
Fr. Michael
